Ryder Smith

About Me

I am currently a junior here at UNL working on a sports media and communication major with a business minor. I started out as a business major, but then decided it wasn't for me. I am originally from a small town in rural Nebraska called Ogallala, which is about 4 hours west of Lincoln.

Career Goals

Right now, I am kind of unsure as of what I want to do and what I want my life to look like, but I do know that I would like to eventually work with a professional sports team, preferably NFL or NBA. I would say outside of working for a pro team, my main goal is to just have a job that I enjoy going to, while also making enough money to provide for myself and loved ones.

This Semester

This is my first semester in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications here at UNL.
My classes include an editing and reporting class, a design thinking class, a mass communications class, a street art class, etc.
I am going to Vegas over Thanksgiving Break.

Hobbies

My favorite things to do are playing sports, hanging out with my friends, and playing video games.
